Nach dem langen Flug mit viel Gepäck sind wir nun seit gestern Nachmittag in Wat Opot.
Auf uns wartete ein herzlicher Empfang mit traditioneller Khmer-Musik zum Tanzen und Festessen, da unsere Ankunft mit dem chinesischen Neujahr zusammen fiel.
Heute waren wir vor allem damit beschäftigt, den neuen Kunstraum herzurichten und aufzuräumen, sodass in den nächsten Tagen das Atelier geöffnet werden kann.
After the long flight with a lot of luggage we have been in Wat Opot since yesterday afternoon.A warm welcome awaited us with traditional Khmer music for dancing and feasting as our arrival coincided with the Chinese New Year.Today we were mainly busy to prepare and clean up the new art space, so that in the next few days the studio can be opened.
